House calls are the ideal choice for many patients and their families. The type of patient that benefits the most from
house calls are those who become extremely stressed during veterinary visits. This is particularly important for our
feline patients, who are among the most anxious in a noisy veterinary hospital. Geriatric patients with arthritis and discomfort
are also best served by house calls. Clients who may benefit from this service include elderly individuals with transportation
limitations; multiple pet households; or busy professionals and parents who prefer the convenience that house calls provide.
Patients that do not benefit from house calls include pets who are territorial, or who require anesthesia for their veterinary
visits. Patients with life threatening emergencies, or conditions requiring intensive care are best served in a traditional veterinary
hospital.
